As a DOT-SAP we evaluate employees who have failed a DOT drug and alcohol regulation to assess if the employee is fit to return to duty. We evaluate the employee and make recommendations to the employer concerning the employee’s treatment, education and follow-up care. In most cases, our SAP assessment is the only reference for the employer in deciding to place the individual back behind the wheel.
